MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

On behalf of the Jefferson Lions Club, I would like to thank you for visiting our website. We hope that you find it helpful and informative.

Jefferson, like most small communities, has and will continue to encounter many changes. Unprecedented population growth, industrial development, political differences, school system expansion and changing family structures are just some of the many challenges with which our community is faced.

We believe that the values and principles instilled in our members by being part of Lions International better prepares us to overcome any obstacles that society may put in our path. We know that charity is the distinguishing human virtue, and that personal community service is the best demonstration of one’s commitment to humanity. We know that words without deeds are meaningless and vow to provide service to the community while promoting charity, friendship, morality, harmony, integrity and love. “We Serve” is our motto.

I am honored to serve as President of the Jefferson Lions Club for 2007/2008. I pray that God will bless you and your family in ways that allow you to be a blessing to others.
